Alan Wilson, 68, of Richmond Hill,
died suddenly on 28 July, after a long illness. He was born in
Forres, Scotland, and, after a career which saw him work there and in
South-east Asia, the Middle East and South America, he settled in
Canada. It was a trip home to Forres that inspired him to create the
clan-crested tartan flags, starting with Munro. Alan is deeply missed
by his wife, Margaret, and their daughters Brooke and Lauren.
Alan
founded Highland Line International to create Clan-crested tartan
flags. Please click

Alan was a long-time member of Clan Munro Association of Canada and of Clans and Scottish Societies of Canada.
