On Tuesday, January 18, 2011, peacefully after a short illness at Centenary Health Centre (Margaret Birch Wing) in her 85th year. Beloved wife of the late David Bell Cook. Predeceased by her parents Charlotte and Alexander Brodie. Loving mother of David (Donna) Cook, and special Granny to Gaelen. Remembered by brother Ken and Pauline Brodie and family. Dear friend of Greta Wilson, Bruce and Nina Watt, and Dr. William and Mrs. Maureen Baird. Visitation was held on January 20 at McDougall and Brown Funeral Home in Toronto. The funeral was held at 11am on January 21 with interment following at Resthaven Memorial Gardens. If desired, donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or to Pickering Christian School.

We regret to announce that Gladys Jane Cook passed away on Tuesday January 18, 2011. Gladys will be remembered as a Highland Dancer in her youth and later as a Judge of Highland Dancing. Gladys was a lady of many musical talents including the bagpipes and accordion. Gladys leaves her son David, his wife Donna and her granddaughter Gaelen.
