Greater Moncton Scottish Association Inc.

WHATEVER SCOTLAND MEANS TO YOU, YOU'RE WELCOME WITH US!

The Greater Moncton Scottish Association's origins go back to 1974 when a group of Moncton area residents of Scottish heritage formed the Moncton Scottish Association for the "study and promotion of Scottish culture in all its forms." Since that time, Moncton Scots have come together to celebrate Robbie Burns' birthday and St. Andrew's Day, to put on concerts and highland dance competitions. We also provide annual scholarships for members studying Scottish dance, music or language.
In 2006, the association put on an evening of music, dance and sports at Bore Park which was so well received it evolved into our highly successful Highland Games and Scottish Festival. In 2010, our association became incorporated and our organization's name was changed to The Greater Moncton Scottish Association Inc. to better reflect the demographics of our membership.
We welcome all persons with Scottish ancestry or an interest in Scottish culture to join us.
